Where there is love for Guruji within, it manifests in form of seva. DIYA Love and care pledged to eradicate Hunger and clothing as an ambitious project. Project Bhog for hunger and project Sanjeevani for clothing. The initiative which started for providing clothes to the needy in winter is now extended throughout the year. 

Clothes for a Cause While we have numerous clothes that we dispose without even touching them once, there are lakhs of people who don't have the bare minimum cloth to cover their bodies. This touching lines of Shri Anand Vijay Ji during his mumbai visit early this year touched moved and inspired DIYA mumbai to contribute for same. 

Anand ji also discussed about the 24 villages adapted by All World Gayatri Pariwar near Awalkheda. Thus an action plan to gather all the clothes that one would like to donate was launched. Separate disposable bags of clothes for children, women, men, etc was made and good conditions clothes almost like new where collected. As these clothes were an expression of our love to Pujya Gurudev, DIYA mumbai ensured that donors donate clothes which were washed, ironed and in wearable condition. 

Friends, family, office colleagues and neighbours were also inspired to participate in this noble drive. More then nine cartoons were collected and dispatched in July ’14month end to Awalkheda which would be further distributed among the needy, poor by Shri Anand Vijay Ji and team. 

Shri Upendra Chaubey, DIYA Gaurav ,DIYA Mahendra, Shri Prahlad Panchal and entire team worked hand to glove in this massive collection drive. One of the core belief of each youth of DIYA Mumbai is Sanghachadhwam (United we move) i.e moving together .This is the mantra which each paarijan manifest in every activity or project which they undertake.
