The event kickstarted with Lighting of the lamp by Revered Dr. Pandyaji (Head- All World Gayatri Pariwar) along with DIYA Dinesh Vijayvargia . The theme was set by DIYA Vivek and Ankur Mehta from DSVV, their words did the magic. Dr. Vivek Quoted many real life examples of transformation from Gayatri Parivar Mumbai and Shantikunj who joined Thought Revolution after receiving embracing love.

The key note address was delivered by Revered Dr.Pandyaji (Head - All World Gayatri Pariwar) provoked each participant to pause and think. Revered Dr.Pandyaji made a sincere attempt to make audience easier to comprehend ’Thought Revolution’.

Dr Pandya gave the lecture on thought revolution which was aimed at generating a purposeful discussion on the issues related to certain negative and unhealthy encroachments on human mind and psyche which can be get rid off by imparting spiritual learning. Every participant in the satsang was touched from within.

Dr Pandya invocation on Thought Revolution was based on the theme that  “Human will change when their thought will change.” He informed that Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya initiated the movement of Thought Revolution with the very first issue of Akhand Jyoti. By 1960, he had compiled and translated the 4 Vedas, 108 Upanishads, 6 Darshanas, 18 Puranas, Yogavasishtha and various Aranyakas and Brahmanas with lucid commentaries to enable the masses to understand the knowledge contained in them. The translation was also aimed at eliminating misconceptions, superstitions and blind customs, which were propagated in the medieval era by misinterpretations of the Vedas and other scriptures.

Addressing the seminar Dr Pandya talked about the fundamental ideas of Thought Revolution  that during the years between 1988 and 2020, the planet will witness an unprecedented and rapid transition to a new era of human history.  We should expect the 21st Century to bring a bright and auspicious period of human history. Referencing the Golden Age of Indian history, he called this new era “Satyug,” meaning “Era of Truth.” According to him, the generation of humans currently alive on the planet has been given the task of ushering in this new era by means of launching a popular movement aimed at raising the collective level of human consciousness throughout the world.

He explained in his talk that Gayatri Pariwar's motto is " Hum Badlenge, Yug Badlega..Hum Sudhrainge, Yug Sudhrega" If we change ourselves with good thought & actions, we can change the world to be a better place. To achieve this we need to follow three  things: (1) Upasna - gaining virtuous qualities and inspiration from one's ideal, which could be God or any other great personality like Swami Vivekananda (2) Sadhna - controlling our senses and our resources both physical and mental (3) Aaradhna- serving our society and the underprivileged with the inspiration, idea and the energy gained from Upasna and Sadhna.

AWGP has initiated seven movements to help bring about a complete and lasting transformation in the world. These movements are: 1. Self Refinement 2. Health 3.Education 4. Self Reliance 5. Environment Protection 6. Women Empowerment and Awakening 7. Deliverance from addictions and Eradication of evil customs. Also Dr Pandya informed about the plans projected under the Yug Nirman Yojna, the mission has contributed to the upliftment of the personal, familial and social aspects of human life.

Its major activities include mass awareness and education on cultural values through small and large scale Gayatri Yojnas and collective projects of social transformation with people’s voluntary participation. Propagation of ideal marriages without dowry and extravagant shows has been a significant and trend-setting achievement, especially in the Indian context. Other achievements include upliftment of the social status of women and an integrated and self-reliant development of villages.

Many people asked questions on spirituality, thought process and how they could handle their day to day problems without getting stressed. Dr Pandya answered the queries and said that young people have a lot of training in technical disciplines but do not often have direction to their life. This often leads to disillusionment. Living life with morals and inspiration will make for a fulfilling life. “Path to inner refinement is not easy for there are no clear goals that one can set for oneself. Outer achievements are easy to quantify and hence people set out to work towards achieving them ” says Dr. Pandya.

The guests were greeted with banners sporting several inspirational messages and sayings throughout the premises. This unique experience was is complimented by cultural programs, meditation practice, and teachings from Vedic Knowledge, Ramayana, Mahabharata and Bhagwad Gita.
